My daughter is now a toddler! I know! They grow so fast :(.
But with this stage, comes its challenges. Tantrums. Messy adventures. Name it. When Zara gets angry, she throws herself flat out on the floor and lets out the loudest scream you’ve ever heard. And we’re not even two yet! Sigh.
Then we have the ‘You-need-to-learn-to-share’ stage. Zara believes everything she sees, touches, holds belongs to her. We’re working on getting her to understand that it’s good to share. But she’s not having any of it.
Don’t get me wrong, she has her good side too. She loves ”talking”. Her favourite word is Chapati (Swahili for flatbread). No need to explain why :). It’s amazing how fast she’s catching on single words. But she does love to yap!
All in all, parenthood is never ending. Once you think you’re done with one stage, another comes your way. All in a
day’s life’s work.
