Embracing sleep deprivation

What is sleep?! I only dream of it - the good ol' days when I would sleep for hours on end, wake up and still want to sleep some more. Lol! My son Xander, is now 2 months (ululations!) but I have to say, I cannot wait for him to sleep through the night. Even …

Say hello to my littu friend

10th November 2016. 9:16am. Weighing in at 3.7kg, our heavyweight champ arrived. First look at him and I was like 'Woah! He has chubby cheeks!' No wonder I was feeling heavy all through my pregnancy. This boy wasn't messing around when he got me craving all sorts of food 😀 It's been one month and …

Raising a girl with natural hair

My daughter's hair has been the centre of attention this week, following new photos that I posted on my Facebook profile. Here I am thinking how people would 'ooh' and 'aah' at my beautiful bump pictures. Yet they  chose to 'ooh' and 'aah' at her hair! No, I'm not being jealous *folds hands and walks …
